Departure at 8:00 a.m., with a first stop near Petit Serré, nestled between steep cliffs.
Then a photo stop at Palmiste Rouge.
We’ll enter Cilaos through the forest above the town, to discover the cirque and its unique history from the viewpoint of La Roche Merveilleuse.
Next, we’ll take the road to Îlet à Cordes, literally heading to the end of the world…
Lunch break in a local guesthouse, enjoying a traditional meal.
In the afternoon, we’ll explore the town of Cilaos, its church, embroidery, and even its local wine…
Then it’s time to tackle the famous 400 bends once again on the way back to the coast.
Expected return around 5:00 p.m.
